The practice applies nutritional biochemistry, exercise physiology, sleep physiology, techniques to increase distress tolerance, lipidology, pharmacology, and four-system endocrinology to increase lifespan (primarily by delaying the onset of chronic disease), while simultaneously improving health span (quality of life).
