Nice piece from Shane Parrish (highly recommend his newsletter and podcast): What’s Staying the Same. As Carl Jacobi, a German mathematician was fond of saying, “Invert, always invert.”

One thing that will always stay the same: the desire for our species to live longer, live better, and avoid suffering.
